Nates4Men opened its doors for the grand debut on September 16, 2022 inside the downtown Oakland City Center plaza. The event featured a sneak peek menswear fashion show and ribbon cutting sponsored by the Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce.
Nate4Men specializes in tailored suits with Italian and American cuts and boasts a wide selection of classic and modern style felt hats by Stacy Adams, Bruno Capelo and more. The luxury men’s clothing store also carries designer footwear from Corrente by Pelle Line, plus custom made West African styles and Ghana imports by Kofi Designs.
As downtown Oakland faces the challenge of declining brick & mortar businesses, owner Bridget Cain decided to open Nates4Men alongside her already well-known Proper Fashions women’s boutique. Nates4Men is named in loving memory of her beautiful son, Nate Mason, who tragically passed in 2021.
